Chessington World Of Adventures announce £5 million upgrade plan taking place during 2013 & 2014.
With Chessington World Of Adventures entering it's 26th year of opperation since opening back 1987. Chessington World Of Adventures has launched an £5 Million to rejuvenate the south west London Theme Park.

Recently Chessington opened Zufari: Ride Into Africa where riders board inside Jeeps to drive through the plain habitats and interacting with animals.

However Dragon Falls a MACK Log Flume has been closed with work to remove the cliff face has been well underway.

This means that many ride's and facilities will be closed throughout this season to recieve referbishment.

Chessington World Of Adventures stated on their website;

The scale of this investment, and also the fact that the resort is open throughout the year for Zoo Days, means that all the works cannot be completed in the winter months and a certain amount of disruption cannot be avoided during the main park season. Therefore you may find certain rides, attractions, and facilities may not be available at certain points during the season whilst work is carried out.

Dragon Falls will be reopening to the public next Wednesday on the 10th of April.
