The Smiler Opening Date Officially Announced

The latest rollercoaster to be added to Alton Towers line-up will open to the public on Thursday 23rd May.

Today the Alton Towers Resort announced when The Smiler will be opening to guests on Thursday 23rd May, 2013.

This long awaited announcement finally came from Alton Towers, who are encouraging guests to join them from the 23rd May and onwards to finally get corrected. 

The Smiler is expected to open alongside the majority of the park at 10:00am. Alton Towers also announced that Fastracks will not be available for The Smiler upon opening, or for the first few of weeks of opening.
